Wondering how the attendees would feel about it at the end of the day….sure seemed like thoughts were swarming their heads! Creating an app that works seamlessly across multiple devicesIt was clear early on that AGA attendees had personal mobile devices that they’ve come to depend on. Having to learn a new app on a completely unfamiliar device was simply unacceptable. Providing AGA with a mobile app solution that could function on multiple platforms was our goal. With our intergrated platform solution, our app could be used on the most popular smartphones and tablets seamlessly.
Providing support all the way through to the end of the eventYou plan for every possible scenario, but things do happen, especially when you're trying something out for the first time. We understood how important it was for AGA to have a backup plan in the case of an emergency during their event, and that's exactly what we wanted to be: their backup plan. With "live" 24-hour tech support, we would be just a phone call away to address any and all concerns about their app before, during, and after the event to ensure a successful debut.
Unbelievable! Their app was an amazing success! With a phenomenal adoption rate and some serious engagement inside the app, it was no secret that the attendees were all over it! They earned a 68% adoption rate, witnessed major activity in attendees downloading presentations from their sessions and even received direct feedback on how much they liked the app through the surveys feature.

In 2015, the AGA made the wise decision to use a meeting app for the very first time in our organization’s history. Having never created an app or even worked with a vendor who did so, the Education Department was nervous. We didn’t know what we didn’t know, and weren’t sure if we wanted to find out! Contracting with PI Interactive Solutions to design our app was the best decision we could have made. Nicole Pearlman was by our side every step of the way, from training us on how to add users, to making sure she and her team were available at odd hours (before 7 a.m. and after 7 p.m. sometimes) to upload last minute presentations.
